Fwd: BAILOUT: 850 Billion? Try FIVE TRILLION

John Perry forwards this to us:

This video has received over 500 hits in less than 24 hours. I put it up last night (Sunday 10/19) about 9pm.
Dr. Michael Hudson, a financial economist and historian, was interviewed on KPFA radio on October 9th. He says, among many other things, that Henry Paulson should be in jail. This video features key excerpts from the interview, but you can hear the whole thing on his website. You'll find the link in the video info.
If you want the scoop that that you will NOT see or hear in the pathetic "mainstream" media, this is it. Please pass it on. Everybody needs to know the REAL reasons behind this massive fraud on the American people. Many WILL be shocked.
I know a lot of people will say "Okay, so what do we do about it?" I will never pretend to have all the answers, but I will say that the first thing we need to do is VOTE OUT every member of congress who voted for it, AND pick one of the four electable alternatives to McCain and Obama, both of whom refused to address the bailout in their October 3rd debate (which you will hear about from Dr. Hudson in this video), and then VOTED FOR IT.
What does that tell you, people?!
Electable alternatives to McCain and Obama:
Cynthia McKinney - Green Party
Chuck Baldwin - Constitution Party (endorsed by Ron Paul)
Bob Barr - Libertarian
Ralph Nader - Independent
Spare me the lectures about spoilers, wasted votes, and none of these people having a chance to win. There's far too much at stake to be compromising our future with weak cop-out excuses for maintaining the unacceptable status quo.
Ross Perot got 19% of the vote in 1992. Exit polls that year indicated that if everyone who wanted to vote for him had actually done so, he would have received 40%. When those who wanted to cast their vote for him but didn't were asked why, the response was that they didn't think he had a chance to win. Clearly, they were wrong.
The only wasted vote is one made for a candidate you don't truly believe in. Kind of like when you vote for the "lesser of two evils." In which case, of course, you end up with evil regardless of which way you go.
Please watch the video and pass it on.
Thanks (especially if you've read this far without deleting) -
